Interns, Paralegals, and Trainee Solicitors

We occasionally have vacancies for students interested in pursuing a career in law. The work experience on offer for interns would suit those seeking a temporary period of employment, such as during the holidays.

We recruit paralegals either when we have a short term need for additional resources, or when there is a long term opening for a paralegal or trainee solicitor. Potential trainee solicitors are initially taken on as paralegals unless they offer substantial relevant work experience elsewhere.

Qualities we seek

We look for good communicators, and place a high value on ability to write. One of our brand values is to use plain English in order to make the law easy to understand and access. Another brand value is to focus on the digital world. Therefore, we look for people whose interests are aligned with our goals – in particular those who are truly excited by the disruptive changes the internet is bringing about in business life.

Applying

Interns interested in working for us should drop us a line to let us know their availability. If there is a suitable opportunity we will ask you to complete our online application form.

Paralegals or trainee solicitor vacancies only arise when we have an imminent vacancy.  Whenever there is a current vacancy you will know because there will be an orange button displayed at the end of this page inviting applications.

Salaries

Interns – depending on our requirements and the skills you are able to offer, you would either expect to be paid expenses only, or the minimum wage. In return you will receive valuable experience and consideration for other suitable vacancies which arise in future.

Paralegals and trainee solicitors will be offered at least a minimum wage, although the salary would be higher for applicants with relevant previous experience either in law or IT.

What to expect

Successful applicants can expect to take responsibility for a range of tasks, which might include providing administrative support, research, trade mark work, and contributing to the firm’s public image by writing articles, maintaining websites and helping with SEO and other online marketing efforts.
